Yehyangwon Orphanage Donation
The chapter's donation drive for Yehyangwon, an orphanage in Jeju, my home-town, where I delivered boxes and spent the day with the children myself.
Our chapter organized donations of food, snacks, instant ramen, clothes, and toys. Since Yehyangwon is on Jeju, where I live, I helped bring the boxes to the orphanage and organize everything once it arrived.
At the center, I also got to talk and play with the children. Even though the work was physically trying, it was meaningful to actually spend time with the children and see them enjoy the toys and supplies, a reminder that the most meaningful part of service can be the human connection behind it.
