Yehyangwon Orphanage Donation
A chapter donation drive for Yehyangwon, an orphanage in Jeju, and because I live in Jeju, a chance to deliver the boxes and spend the day with the children myself.
Our chapter organized donations of food, snacks, instant ramen, clothes, and toys. Since Yehyangwon is on Jeju, where I live, I helped bring the boxes to the orphanage and organize everything once it arrived.
I also got to talk and play with the children. The work was physically tiring, but seeing them enjoy the toys and supplies made it one of the more grounding days of service I have had, a reminder that the delivery matters less than the time you spend once you are there.
