Hangang River Cleanup
A recurring chapter commitment, cleaning litter every other Saturday along the Hangang River, one of Seoul’s most visited public spaces.

Because so many people gather at the Hangang for picnics, exercise, and rest, trash builds up fast in the public areas. Our chapter spent several hours on alternating Saturdays picking up litter along the river.
The work may not be glamorous, but I felt genuinely satisfied when I saw the stretch of the riverside looking clean again, especially when people exercising nearby noticed and thanked us. Because we came back regularly to clean the area, instead of treating it like as a one-time effort, it felt like real stewardship.
